I started Starlight Reads in the summer of 2015, partially as a school project. The name was inspired by my love of the stars and my love of reading. The blog, which started on Tumblr and then migrated to Blogger and ultimately here on WordPress, became home of countless reviews, articles, and other bookish content. Though it started as a mere project and hobby, Starlight Reads is now a major passion of mine.
In addition to running this blog, I also run the @Starlight.reads instagram account, where I post daily photos of books and other bookish items. Links to that account and to my other social media accounts can be found in the sidebar and at the bottom of this page.

Hi! My name is Leah, and I’m currently a 22-year-old college graduate. I majored in English with a double minor in Publishing and Digital Media Design. I’m currently seeking a publishing job, because my absolute dream is to work with books and make authors’ dreams come true!
I’ve been a bookworm all my life, and I intend on staying that way. You can usually catch me with a book tucked away in my bag, and if not, there’s always something to read on my Kindle app. I also love writing, and hope to get a book (or ten) published someday!
