Unboxing & Review: Owlcrate – April 2020 – Full Moon Magic

Hey everyone! Today, I’m here with a very fun unboxing of the April 2020 Owlcrate. I actually didn’t intend on buying this box (my renewal went through before I could cancel!) but I’m glad that I got it. The theme is right up my alley due to my love of celestial things, and the book is one of my favorites of the year! Keep reading to see the great things that were in this box and read my review of this box!

I really loved this box! I’m mainly in love with the exclusive edition of Bone Crier’s Moon, which I reviewed last month. The sprayed edges and cover change are so stunning, and this is definitely my favorite edition of the book thus far! The pin based on the book is also quite cute as well!

I’m a total sucker for notebooks, so I loved getting one in this box, especially with that art and Oscar Wilde quote. Additionally, I loved that the moon phase banner came in a little pouch with an Oscar Wilde quote. I’m not sure what I’ll put in the pouch, but I’ll definitely find a use for it. (Maybe to hold loose change? Who knows!) I think that the moon phase banner is such a unique item, and I can’t wait to hang it between my bookshelves. I might actually paint them to match the aesthetic of my room!

Another favorite from the box is the tote bag! I love that the quote isn’t really fandom specific and can be enjoyed by anyone. The design is simplistic and minimal. I can’t wait to carry it around on trips to the bookstore!

I’m not entirely sure if I’ll keep the puzzle and bracelet. The bracelet is cute and simple, but I’m not the biggest fan of bracelets of that style and I don’t see myself reaching for it much. As for the puzzle, I think it’s really cute and I love puzzles, but I’ve never been one for gluing puzzles together to display them, so I might just keep the matching art print and pass the puzzle along.

All-in-all, I really liked this box! The full moon theme was perfect for me and honestly, the book itself makes the entire box worth it for me! I’d give the April 2020 box a solid 4.5/5 stars!

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Thanks for reading! I actually have another unboxing planned for tomorrow (and spoiler alert, it might include a different special edition of the same book from this box!) Until next time!
